Metal wall cladding

Metal wall cladding suits Central Queensland for the same reasons metal roofing does: it sheds water, it does not rot, and it handles heat and humidity without swelling or splitting. It also looks genuinely good on a rural or coastal home, and it is low maintenance in a way that painted weatherboard never will be.

Cladding lives or dies on its flashings. Around windows, at corners, where the wall meets the roof, at the base — those are the points water finds. We set out the sheets so the ribs line up across openings and run the flashing detail so water is thrown clear of the frame instead of being led into it. Done well, cladding is invisible work you never think about again.

We clad new builds, extensions and re-clads over tired weatherboard or fibro, plus sheds and outbuildings. Profiles and colours are matched to your roof where you want the house to read as one thing, or deliberately contrasted where you do not.
