Gutter maintenance and replacement

Guttering is where most water damage on a house actually begins. Blocked or undersized gutters back up during heavy rain, water goes over the back edge into the fascia and wall, and by the time anyone notices there is a swollen ceiling cornice or rotted timber behind the eave. A great deal of the leak work we get called to in Rockhampton is a gutter problem wearing a roof problem's clothes.

We replace guttering and fascia to match your roof, and we size it for the rainfall we actually get here rather than the minimum that passes. That means enough downpipes in the right places, correct fall to each outlet, and no long dead runs where water sits and rots the gutter from the inside.

We also do the unglamorous maintenance: clearing gutters and valleys of leaf litter, flushing downpipes, checking outlets and rebracketing sagging runs. It is a small annual job that prevents most of the expensive ones, and it matters most in the weeks before storm season.
