Roof restoration
For roofs that are structurally sound but tired: cleaned back, re-fixed, re-sealed and recoated to add years of service.
Not every worn roof needs replacing. If the sheets are sound and the framing is solid, a restoration will add years of life for a fraction of what a new roof costs. It is the most cost-effective work we do, and the most commonly skipped — plenty of roofs across Rockhampton get replaced when a proper restoration would have carried them another decade.
The work starts with a full clean to strip back the surface oxidation, dirt and lichen so we can actually see the condition of the metal. Then every fixing gets checked and replaced where it has corroded or backed out, the ridge capping and flashings are re-bedded and re-sealed, and any surface rust is treated before it eats through. Only then does the protective coating go on.
We are upfront about when restoration is not the answer. If there is rust through the sheets, failed valleys or water already in the framing, coating over the top just hides the problem for a season. We will tell you that during the inspection rather than after you have paid for it.
